HIRE A GUIDE-WHY?
Why would a good fishermen like you ever need to hire a guide? Consider the following circumstances:

SITUATION #1-You are on the bubble and needing a good tournament to make the classic but you can't get away to pre-fish like you want. You've been behind the 8 ball all year and just can't get on fish. It's a big lake and would take 2 full days to check out all of the lake and patterns.

ANSWER-Hire a guide for a day or even a half day and let them show you what the pattern is and the correct technique that is producing limits for that time of year. This is high percentage fishing and really ups your odds for being in the right place and doing the right thing! With the price of gasoline and the cost of missing a day of work, a good guide is more than worth the money.

SITUATION #2-Vacation time is here and you and the family are heading to the lake for a week of fun. You're really wanting the kids and wife to catch some fish but summer fishing on this lake is tough! You can spend a frustrating week trying to locate the fish end up disappointing the family very easily.

ANSWER
-Hire a guide the first day you are at the lake and you'll catch more fish all week long and eliminate most of those fishless mornings.

Lake Murray Outdoors has a great lineup of guides at Lake Murray. These guides have a great reputation for catching fish and also for helping the client have a pleasant and fun day on the water. If you are fishing a tournament they will help you get on a productive pattern, or if the family is on the way they will show you a technique that the family can have fun with.
